Equine Body Balancing
A holistic, non-invasive approach to balance and movement

Cranio-Sacral
Therapy for a dysfunctional cranio-sacral system can be of great benefit to a
horse.
What is Cranio-Sacral Therapy?
Equine Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands on, holistic therapy that works with a
horse’s craniosacral system to improve physical, neurological, and emotional well-being.
CST uses light finger pressure to detect and release restrictions in this system, promoting optimal fluid flow, nervous system function and overall body balance.
The therapy is adapted from human craniosacral techniques developed by osteopaths William Garner Sutherland and John Upledger, modified for equine anatomy and physiology.
CST release techniques are very gentle and yet can have very deep effects. The practitioner feels for impinged CSF flow, fascial restrictions and twists that impact a horse's stance.
If your horse stands crooked, it's likely that CST can help correct that.
If your horse has chronic muscle tension, spasm, local or generalized pain that a medical professional has been unable to resolve, then CST may also be beneficial.
